feed me

Since Wynne Goss taught us, I have gotten very hungry for a slamming in the Holy Spirit. I realize (again and again) that what I recieved from God is but the tip of the iceberg, and I can't settle for it. It's not enough. Jesus died so that we could experience so much more. We never even experience 1/1000th of what He purchased for us.

I was in prayer a couple of days ago when I disinctly heard the Spirit say,
"Don't settle!! Don't settle...... for what I've already done.
It's all you need, but it'not all I want to give you."

That is crazy. In the natural, when you are hungry, there is a feeling of emptiness inside, a kind of raw, gnawing pain, that needs to be remedied before any kind of satisfaction can be realized.
So it is when you are hungry for more of God; there is an emptiness inside you that can only be filled by an encounter with Him, and Him alone. Needless to say, I've been spending a bit more time in prayer; seeking God's direction in a number of areas.

He is faithful, and eager to meet our need.........

  2. Hunger?
Christ in me is the hope of glory, I am not sure how one can be full of God, yet be in hunger of Him... sounds oxymoronish to me.

  6. Good blog, fully enjoyable, I thought I had a good question, but guess not, sorry for the intrusion.
Perhaps I am walking around with blinders on my eyes regarding the issue.
New Covenant teaching that we have died and it is Christ Jesus who lives in us (not more of you, less of me)but ALL Christ hasn't taught me what I need to grow up from a child.
Just so I am not anonymous anymore (as it seems to be uncharacteristic), my name is Charlie, Charles really, but everyone calls me Charlie, and not Chuck.

  8. Yes, very much.
In fact, he told me which clothes to wear today and low an behol, I got a job, not even looking for one, this guy just asked me in the street.
    God provides, talk about greatness.
Speaking of jobs, cnn staffing solutions always looks for people, but it is the kind of work people hate, but works work, garbage collecting for $11/hour PT sounds ok.
But really, choosing a job is up to your personality.
You could always suck your brain dry at a call-centre... $12+/hour.
